What Does Part A Cover?

  • Inpatient care in hospitals
  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Hospice
  • Home health care
 
In 2018, you pay the following deductible and copays…
​Medicare covers up to 90 days of inpatient hospital care each benefit period. You also have an additional 60 days of coverage, called lifetime reserve days. These 60 days can be used only once in your lifetime.  Then, you pay 100% of all expenses beyond 90 or 150 days.
